Applications are now open for the Afro-Tech Girls IWD 2026 Laptop Scholarship, an initiative designed to empower promising female STEM graduates in Nigeria by providing them with the essential technology needed to advance their learning and careers.
As part of the International Women’s Day 2026 celebration, Afro-Tech Girls aims to support talented young women who are passionate about building careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics but lack access to the digital tools required to fully pursue their ambitions.
Through this initiative, 20 high-performance laptops will be awarded to selected applicants, enabling them to learn, build projects, develop technical skills, and access opportunities within the global technology ecosystem.
About the Afro-Tech Girls Laptop Scholarship
Afro-Tech Girls believes that access to technology can transform futures. Many talented women in STEM face barriers simply because they do not have the basic tools required to practice their skills, participate in online learning, or develop technical projects.
