The applications are open for the Erasmus Mundus EMAI Scholarship 2025-2027. The EMAI is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree Program in Artificial Intelligence.
The duration of the Program is 2 years. Students will complete the EMAI Master’s Degree program at four top EU universities. Applicants from all over the world are eligible to apply. There is no application fee.
The Erasmus Mundus Scholarship will cover all the expenses including Tuition, Stipend, Visa, Airfare, and Accommodation.

- Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) in Barcelona
- Sapienza University of Rome in Rome (Italy)
- Radboud University in Nijmegen (The Netherlands)
- University of Ljubljana in Ljubljana (Slovenia)

Eligibility Criteria for Erasmus Mundus in AI Scholarship 2025/27
- The Erasmus Mundus EMAI program is open to all the Nationals.
- EMAI accepts students with a strong background in computer science, software engineering, and applied mathematics.
- Students with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, such as Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Physics, or equivalent are encouraged to apply.
- Must hold a Bachelors Degree.
- Final-year students of an Undergraduate program can also apply.

Structure of the Erasmus Mundus in AI Scholarship 2025/27
During the first year, students will have the opportunity to study in three different countries. In their second year, they can choose where they would like to conduct their Master’s thesis research.
- 1st Semester: Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) in Barcelona
- 2nd Semester: Choose from:
- Sapienza University of Rome in Rome (Italy)
- Radboud University in Nijmegen (The Netherlands)
- University of Ljubljana in Ljubljana (Slovenia)
- 3rd and 4th Semester (Specialisation) can be completed in any of the Four Universities.
