Job Summary
We are looking for a Cyber Security Analyst/Specialist to safeguard our clients’ digital systems, networks, and data from threats such as theft, damage, and unauthorized access.
The ideal candidate will implement security measures, monitor for breaches, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with security standards. This role requires expertise in risk assessment, threat detection, incident response, and security architecture.
Professionals in this role will design, build, and maintain defenses, conduct security tests, train staff, and stay ahead of evolving cyber threats to protect sensitive information and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and procedures
- Monitor emerging cyber threats and security trends
- Support compliance with industry security standards and regulations
- Install and manage firewalls, antivirus, encryption, and access controls
- Investigate and report security incidents, developing plans to prevent recurrence
- Educate staff and IT personnel on security protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field
- Basic to advanced knowledge of cyber security principles
- Understanding of networks, operating systems, and common cyber threats
- Familiarity with firewalls, antivirus tools, and security monitoring systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH) are a plus
