She Code Africa is recruiting for the following positions:

- Operations Associate

People and Culture Officer (Remote, Full time)
The People and Culture Officer will be responsible for fostering a positive organizational culture, managing HR processes, and ensuring employee engagement. This role is central to maintaining She Code Africa’s inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes.
- Foster a culture of inclusion, growth, and well-being within the team.
- Organize training, team-building activities, and career development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and best practices in HR management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of HR/People Management experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in nonprofit or tech organizations is an advantage.
Operations Associate (Remote, Full time)
The Operations Associate will support the day-to-day operations of She Code Africa, ensuring smooth project execution, efficient internal processes, and organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and execution of organizational programs and initiatives.
- Handle documentation, reporting, and operational record-keeping.
- Assist in budget tracking, financial operations, and logistics.
- Manage schedules, meetings, and coordination across teams.
- Optimize internal workflows and ensure smooth cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related fields.
- 1–3 years’ experience in operations, project management, or administration.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in productivity tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack, etc.).
- Detail-oriented and proactive problem solver.
Design Associate (Remote, Full-time)
The Design Associate will be responsible for creating compelling visual content that communicates She Code Africa’s brand identity and mission effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Design social media graphics, presentations, reports, and marketing materials.
- Collaborate with teams to create designs for campaigns, programs, and events.
- Ensure brand consistency across all platforms and channels.
- Assist in managing the organization’s visual assets and design library.
- Stay updated on design trends and recommend creative improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or certification in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, or similar tools.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative work and design skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Experience in nonprofit or community-based projects is a plus.
Community Growth & Strategy Lead (Remote, Full-time)
The Community Growth & Strategy Lead will oversee She Code Africa’s community development initiatives, drive engagement strategies, and foster strong connections among members, partners, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of community growth strategies.
- Manage and support community chapters across Africa.
- Build engagement activities, events, and mentorship programs.
- Analyze community performance metrics and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to scale community impact.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related fields.
- 3–5 years of experience in community management or growth strategy.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and public relations skills.
- Experience working in women-focused or tech-related communities is an advantage.
Partnerships and Grants Associate ( Remote, Full-time)
The Partnerships and Grants Associate will support the organization in building strong partnerships, securing funding opportunities, and managing grant applications.
Responsibilities:
- Research, identify, and pursue partnership and grant opportunities.
- Draft compelling grant proposals, partnership decks, and reports.
- Manage relationships with partners, donors, and sponsors.
- Monitor grant compliance and ensure timely reporting.
- Collaborate with teams to align partnerships with organizational goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Development, Nonprofit Management, Communications, or related fields.
- 2–3 years of experience in partnership development, fundraising, or grants management.
- Strong proposal writing and presentation skills.
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation abilities.
- Experience in nonprofit fundraising and donor relations is a strong advantage.
